The goal is to have the output of iotop stored as a string which I can then later search and use. This is running on Ubuntu 16.04 w/ python 3.6. I am calling the script with "sudo python3.6 script.py" as iotop requires admin rights.

Sometimes pc doesn't restart or shutdown or start. Mainly the gui remains stuck. Then the pc needs to hard reset. I clean reinstalled Ubuntu again but the problem remains the same.
