WebMay 13, 2012 · 4,752 Posts. #4 · May 7, 2012. try putting a tail pipe extension on the back. you are getting the exhaust because of the awesome aerodynamics of a brick, oh i mean jeep. mine did it all the time until i put a magnaflow exhaust on it. and ran the pipe about 2 inches past the rear bumper. but if you think its running too rich, take out the plugs ... I have seen a few JK's on here with 20's that do look good but they are running 40's or 42's. Unless you plan on running a tire that large I would stick with 17 or 18 inch wheels.
